OVERVIEW
This "just sitting" is the heart of practice, and it is more intimate than it sounds. With nothing to manufacture and nothing to hold our attention, we simply sit upright, letting ourselves be breathed, meeting whatever appears. Zazenkai means “coming together for zazen.” Over our short day plus together we will follow the light in zazen, noting what turning it around actually means, and where it goes when we stand up from the cushion. Our coming together will include sitting periods, dharma talks, practice discussion, and time to meet one another.
